When should I get a layer volume correction?
Volume filler correction, also known as dermal filler correction, is a procedure used to adjust or revise the volume and distribution of previously injected dermal fillers. Here are a few instances when you might consider getting a volume filler correction:
Loss of filler volume over time: As time passes, dermal fillers gradually break down and are absorbed by the body. This can result in a reduction in volume or fullness in the treated area. If you notice a significant loss of volume and wish to restore it, a volume filler correction may be appropriate.
Uneven distribution of filler: In some cases, the distribution of dermal fillers may not be uniform, leading to an imbalanced or asymmetrical appearance. A volume filler correction can address this by redistributing the filler substance to achieve a more balanced and harmonious result.
Dissatisfaction with initial results: If you are unsatisfied with the initial outcome of your dermal filler treatment, a volume filler correction can be performed to make adjustments and achieve your desired aesthetic goals. This may involve adding or subtracting filler substance to achieve the desired shape and contour.
Changes in facial features or aesthetic preferences: Over time, your facial features may naturally change, or your aesthetic preferences may evolve. In such cases, you may want to modify the volume or proportions of the previously injected dermal fillers. A volume filler correction can help you achieve the desired changes and adapt to your evolving aesthetic needs.
