Back Muscle Contractures
Back muscle contractures refer to the involuntary tightening or shortening of the muscles in the back, leading to limited movement and stiffness. These contractures can occur as a result of various factors, such as muscle imbalances, prolonged immobility, injury, or neurological conditions.
The Treatment:
Therapeutical Botox is used to reduce muscle spasticity and relieve associated symptoms. The injections are strategically administered to specific points within the affected muscles, targeting the overactive muscle fibers responsible for the contracture. By relaxing these muscles, Botox can help restore a more normal range of motion, alleviate pain, and improve overall function.
